Après Lethé et mon petit Daimon fait à l'occasion respectivement de Mermay et Drawlloween, je continue mon exploration de la mythologie grecque et latine et sa réinterprétation (d'une façon très personnelle qui j'espère vous plaît !)
Cette fois-ci je me plonge dans le monde Océanides, fille d'Océan et de Thétis.
A l'extrême gauche vous pouvez voir Persé portant fièrement a couronne d'or; et à son opposition, à gauche du tableau, sa fille Circé perdue dans ces pensées. Au milieu jouant dans les serbes hautes, vous pouvez apercevoir Perséphone et deux de ces amies, avant qu'elle ne soit enlever par Hadès.
After Lethe and my little daimon made for Mermay and Drawlloween, I continue my study of the greek and latine mythology and my journey to find another way to paint it (very personal I know and I hope you love it!)
This time, I land into te world of the Oceanids, daughters of Ocean and Thetis.
At the very right, you can see Perse wearing proudly her gold crown; and at her opposite, at the left of the painting, her daughter Circe, lost in her thoughts. In the tall grass, you can glimpse Persephone and her girlfriends, just before Hades abducted her.
