"Elle entra calmement ..."

L'Institut International Charles Perrault est consacré au livre et à l'illustration jeunesse. Chaque année, il met en place un prix graphique récompensant l'illustration pour la jeunesse.

Cette année, le président du jury, l'illustrateur Fabien Fernandez, a choisi le texte suivant qu'il fallait illustrer: 

            "Elle entra calmement.

              Une nouvelle fois, la créature revenait victorieuse."

141 oeuvres provenant de dix pays ont été envoyées. Onze oeuvres ont été choisi par le jury pour être finaliste, dont la mienne! 

Elle sera exposée parmi les dix autres lors du salon du livre jeunesse d'Eaubonne.

The International Charles Perrault Intitute is dedicated to the children's book and illustration. Every year, it sets up a graphic prize rewarding the illustration for the youth. This year, president of the jury, illustrator Fabien Fernandez, chose the following text to illustrate:

           "It entered calmly.

             Again, the creature returned victorious."

141 works coming from ten countries were sent. Eleven were chosen by the jury to be finalist, one of them is mine!

It will be exposed among ten others during the children's book fair  of Eaubonne.

L'inspiration pour cette collection est l'enfance, les chibis et l'esprit kawaï japonais, ainsi que le mode floral, comme toujours.

Here is the mini collection I draw for the International Fashion Festival of Dinard.

The inspiration for this collection is childhood, chibis and japansese kawaï's mood, and flower, as always.
