The attraction of the depths

Je suis très heureuse et fière de vous annoncer que je ferai partie de l'exposition collective "20 x 20" qui se tiendra à partir du 20 janvier au Portugal à la Galerie Penumbra .

La seul condition pour cet évènement était de créer un tableau de dimension carré, 20 x 20 cm. Mis à part cela, c'était carte blanche ! J'ai donc créée mon premier tableau de 2019 en commençant l'approfondissement d'un thème qui est au coeur de mon processus créatif : une réflexion sur la couleur. 
Pour ce tableau j'ai choisis une couleur qui était un challenge pour moi: le jaune. Concernant l'histoire de ce tableau, comme d'habitude, je préfère que mes spectateurs restent entièrement maître de leur ressenti et plongée à l'intérieur de l'oeuvre. I'm very proud and honored to tell you that I'll be part of the "20 x 20" collective exhibition at Penumbra Art Gallery in Portugal which will start on January 20th.

The only rule for this event was to create a 20 x 20 centimeters piece. Except that we had carte blanche!  So, with this first painting of 2019 I started an in-depth study of a thought that is the center of my artistic process: the study on color.
For this piece, I choose a challenging color for me: yellow. About the story behind it, as usual, I prefer my audience to be fully in control of its journey into the artwork and its perception of it. One clue, the title: "The attraction of the depths".
